School Safety

Sweetwater County School District #1 follows the Standard Response Protocol and Pilot Butte holds drills monthly. Alerts are sent through Parent Square.

All visitors must enter the front door and check in with the office secretary. 

The School Resource Officer is Officer Chris Sprouse.

Appropriate personnel are Mandt trained.

The threat assessment team consists of the principals, counselors, school psychologist, and the respective teacher when needed.
