File: JFCC STUDENT CONDUCT ON SCHOOL BUSES

The privilege of students to ride a school bus is contingent upon their safe, respectful and responsible behavior and their adherence to established regulations. The driver of a school bus shall be responsible for the safety of the students on the bus; both during the ride and while students are entering or leaving the vehicle. The bus driver will notify the transportation director and the principal of the school involved if any student persists in violating the established rules of conduct for the bus. Due process shall be provided to a student and legal parents/guardians will be notified prior to the withholding from the student the privilege of riding the school bus.
